WorldWide phone Q1 2012 market share final results,positions: Samsung, Nokia and Apple.

Here's a look at how many cellphones each manufacturer sold worldwide and its market share during the first quarter of 2012, according to Gartner. Second-quarter numbers are not yet available for all companies. In the April-June quarter, Apple said it sold 26 million phones — all smartphones. That's a 28 percent increase from a year ago.
Samsung Electronics Co. — 86.6 million units, 20.7 percent share (16.1 percent a year earlier)
Nokia Corp. — 83.2 million units, 19.8 percent share (25.1 percent a year earlier)
Apple Inc. — 33.1 million units, 7.9 percent share (3.9 percent a year earlier)
ZTE Corp. — 17.4 million units, 4.2 percent share (2.5 percent a year earlier)
LG Electronics Inc. — 14.7 million units, 3.5 percent share (5.6 percent a year earlier)
Huawei Technology Co. — 10.8 million units, 2.6 percent share (1.6 percent a year earlier)
Research in Motion Ltd. — 9.9 million units, 2.4 percent share (3.0 percent a year earlier)
Motorola Mobility (now part of Google) — 8.4 million units, 2.0 percent share (2.1 percent a year earlier)
Sony Corp. — 7.9 million units, 1.9 percent share (1.9 percent a year earlier)
HTC Corp. — 7.7 million units, 1.8 percent share (2.2 percent a year earlier)
Others — 139 million units, 33.3 percent share (35.9 percent a year earlier).
