Elementary Schools and High Schools authorities and teachers will not restrict the Access to Youtube to their students to watch videos.
Google presented an educative version to watch videos online.
YoutubeEDU its promoted attracting teachers to convert themselves as managers of the web content since last week .
“Every educational institution can access the full Youtube content for schools, but the teachers and managers can also access and create videos playlists available in the schools” Google said.
More than 450.000 videos are available to be used in the classrooms. Youtube classified their material in areas, like math, science, languages, arts by basic and superior levels.
The teacher Ana Pabón, from the José Antonio Velasco School in Tumbaco, Quito Ecuador, is preparing videos for her students of 6th and 7th levels. She wants to classified videos about alcoholism and drug addiction . “We want to teach the effects of these addictions and the information contrast with other sources” she said.
