Namiki Precision Singapore, ( HQ located in Singapore ---2 Shenton Way #08-03A SGX Centre 1 Singapore 068804--- Mr. Makoto Otsubo, President ) has developed the world’s first rectangular vibration speaker (13 x 18 x 4.5mm).

In order to save significant space, normally taken up by separate components with one function, this vibration speaker combines four functions into one component - speaker, earpiece, haptics and vibration.

The features of the rectangular vibration speaker are:
1.Loudness, high quality sound reproduction at low frequencies
2.Mechanically identical to current industrial standard
rectangular speaker(13x18x4.5mm) and it is replaceable
3.Quick response optimised for haptics
4.

 
Long operation lifetime and high reliability
5.Low mechanical noise when used in vibration mode

We are exhibiting in Hall 2, stand 2B 120 at the Mobile World Congress February 27th to March 1st 2012.

Furthermore, this product can be used with Texas Instruments audio codecs with miniDSP and Stellaris® Arm® CortexTM microcontrollers to maximize the functionality of the MFD and simplify the design process for customers.

The TLV320AIC3120 is a low-power, highly integrated, high-performance codec which features a mono audio DAC and mono audio ADC.

The TLV320AIC3120 features a high-performance audio codec with 24-bit mono playback and mono record functionality. The device integrates several analog features, such as a microphone interface, headphone drivers, and speaker drivers. The TLV320AIC3120 has a fully programmable miniDSP for digital audio processing. The digital audio data format is programmable to work with popular audio standard protocols (I2S, left/right-justified) in master, slave, DSP, and TDM modes. Bass boost, treble, or EQ can be supported by the programmable digital signal-processing blocks (PRB).
