Speedcam Warning App iCoyote to Cover 18 European Countries
Company to launch in 12 new countries, to further develop its community of 1.5 million paid drivers

Coyote System, the leading provider of community-based driving assistants, announces today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the upcoming availability of its mobile application iCoyote in 12 new countries across Europe.

The iCoyote application provides drivers with fixed camera, red light cameras and speed limits warnings and allows them to share mobile camera locations, traffic incidents – and other road hazards, with the click of a button. The user-generated information is processed in real-time through sophisticated algorithms that aggregate, filter, verify and rank community alerts. The Coyote servers send back the right information at the right time, according to the the location and speed of the user’s vehicle.

iCoyote will be launched on the Apple App Store in Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden, in the coming days, pending Apple’s approval. In these countries iCoyote will be free for a limited time period.

These new countries add to the firmly established presence of Coyote System in Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Spain with a community of 1.5 million paid users. In these countries the service is available through the iCoyote app, as well as Coyote’s dedicated devices and third party products such as Garmin’s and TomTom’s connected devices, Parrot ASTEROID car radio and others.

“Within the next few days we will have launched our service in the vast majority of European countries,“ said Serge Bussat, Executive Vice President in charge of International and Partnerships at Coyote System. “We are currently fine tuning our plans for Germany and the United Kingdom. We currently expect to launch our service in these markets before the end of the year to complete our European footprint.“
