LTE: Australia: Telstra launches the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G.

Telstra has introduced the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G. The LTE smartphone has a 4.5-inch SuperAmoled screen and runs on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with an NFC chip built in for NFC tag reading.

 Multimedia functions include an 8 megapixel camera and 1080p full HD video recording. The phone comes with 16 GB of built-in memory, a battery with a capacity of 1850mAh, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.

 Telstra offers the Galaxy S II 4G to consumers for AUD 5 per month on the AUD 59 Freedom Connect Plan (after included MRO bonus) and for AUD 5 per month on a AUD 70 Business Mobile Advantage Plan. The Samsung Galaxy S II 4G is also available to purchase outright for AUD 768.
