Naturally, photos are pushed here directly, pulled straight from the ether.

The new iPad
Ipad 15.4 million sold in the last quarter.

"When we set out to create the iPad we set out to create not just a new product but a new category. In order to do that the iPad had to be the best device for doing some of the things that you do most often."

"When we asked iPad users who had a notebook a desktop and a smartphone about their favorite device for email, they responded 'iPad.'"

It's 2048 x 1536, sure enough. That's 3.1 million pixels. "The most ever in a mobile device."
1 million pixels more than HDTV
We're looking at 264ppi "and that is enough to call it a retina display."
The iPad, now, is expected to be held at 15 inches.
40 percent better color saturation than before, too.

A5X cpu
A5X processor is confirmed, quad-core graphics!
Comparing to a Tegra 3, Apple says the A5 is "twice as fast" and the A5X offers "four times the performance."
That's 44 percent greater saturation in the display, to be specific.

There's software stabilization happening and it's a clear improvement.

Photos are, predictably, loading a heck of a lot faster on LTE.
Verizon LTE!
Verizon, Rogers, Bell, Telus and AT&T will be the LTE partners.
It will also support two other faster network technologies — HSPA+ and dual-channel HSDPA. That’s important because LTE is rolling out slower globally than it is here in the U.S.
all will be 3G world-ready, which is good news. "Whichever one you pick you can roam anywhere around the world."
The iPad can now be a personal hotspot too -- if the carrier supports it.
